Food is always great quality and big portions. If you go on the weekend and get the prime rib you will not leave hungry. Also prices are reasonable and service is friendly
We hosted our sons 1st birthday today. Everything was beyond perfect. The prices were very fair, the staff was incredibly nice and hard working, and the space was warm and cozy. Thanks for a great experience!
Stopped in for a pint after a concert at Mulcahy's. Did not order food but they pour one hell of a Guinness, especially when we ordered a half dozen pours. Service was great. Will absolutely recommend to anyone for a pre or post show drink and will definitely be back for dinner!
We celebrated Thanksgiving with food from The Wantagh Inn! It was great! The service was great! We had crab cakes, red snapper and turkey dinner specials! All was great very happy with our selections!
Still reasonable pricing, great special menu nights (see website), burger night and steak night for example are just great for what they charge. Service exceptional, mary our waitress, old school, will anticipate what you might need, and bring it without asking. Each table has a water pitcher filled with enough ice, so you will never have to track down someone for a glass refill or extra ice. Bar area is always busy, and can be noisy on special game nights, but if you sit in the L area , you won't hear it. Decor is like a vintage restaurant from back in the day, always decorated to reflect the seasons or holidays, a nice touch. Never a bad meal, lunch or dinner, and no special charges either for credit cards (wow!) Food service comes out quick too!
Four of us had a most delicious Oktoberfest dinner on a very Saturday evening. While the bar was bustling and loud, the dining room was very suitable for our dinner conversations. After giving our name to the hostess, we were soon greeted by a most charming older gentleman who graciously led my wife by her hand to our table and he then proceeded to place our jackets on the back of our chairs. We saw him doing this throughout our time there, What a nice, charming touch! The food and drink were wonderful. We are making plans to come back.
